LBJ machining Quality system
ISO Certifications Help Us To Achieve Customer Satisfaction
LBJ Precision Machinery is certified and compliant with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001: 2015. These ISO standards specify the management requirements for quality and environmental protection. They demonstrate our commitment to consistently providing you prototyping volume production and related services.
Our most recent certification is ISO 13485: 2016, which specifically regards the quality system for medical device manufacturing and other health-related services.
ISO 14001:2015
Controls our environmental management system. We take our responsibility seriously to be good stewards of the environment.
ISO 9001:2015
This leads to cost savings, improved efficiencies, and greater consistency of service deliverables.
ISO 13485:2016
Reputable and reliable quality is one of the most crucial factors for medical devices and their components, which requires a company’s quality management system for manufacturing medical devices, health-related products, and support services.
IATF 16949:2016
The IATF 16949:2016 standard incorporates applicable automotive customer-specific requirements and is a supplement to ISO 9000/9001:2015 requirements for automotive production and relevant service part organizations. Formed to provide improved quality products to automotive customers worldwide.
Our Quality Management System
Quality is the life of our company. That’s why we have a complete quality management system. The quality management system philosophy has run through the whole workflow from the design to after-sales service, LBJ ensures that the company’s internal process, whether production or management, meets the requirements of international quality standards, and receives products that meet and exceed customers’ expectations.
In order to guarantee smooth processes, we work continuously on improvements in our processes and seamless, complete documentation. With our quality management system, we ensure a consistent recording and monitoring of all areas from material purchasing to finished products.
Engineering quality from the start
Our sales mark the requirement of customers, and engineers are dedicated to customer requirements and providing application assistance from concept through complete system design and integration, from planning and production to quality assurance and logistics. Our inspector operates using detailed planning schedules from first article inspection and manufacturing machinist checklists during the manufacturing process, ensuring a consistently high quality of work.
Our focus on quality is embraced in all sectors of our company. We are constantly striving to achieve our ultimate goal of “zero defects”. We proactively investigate the root cause and immediately implement corrective action. These preventative measures are then implemented, tracked, and evaluated to verify their effectiveness. We continue to improve our quality system through constant evaluation, education, and commitment. We continue to strive for our goal of “zero defects”.
Measuring Instruments
We guarantee that the programming of the coordinate measuring machine is carried out by professionals. The error-free operation of the program ensures accurate results, due to the fact that after the program is launched, the human factor is virtually eliminated and staff has no ability to influence the measurement results.
e can carry out precise measurements using hand-held measuring instruments, such as electronic calipers or micrometers. However, calibrated equipment is a coordinate measuring machine that demonstrates the highest quality results, making measurements to an accuracy of up to a micron. The more complex the measurements or the more of them that need to be made, the more profitable it is to use a coordinate measuring machine.
OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION
First article inspection is the process of confirming new or altered production processes live up to the specifications dictated in the engineering plans.
It is typical in high-precision part manufacturing and involves pulling parts from the beginning of the production run for verification. The inspector then provides a first-article inspection report to attest to the part’s specs and quality parameters.
IN PROCESS INSPECTION
This process consists of a visual inspection to check the surface finish as well as a dimensional measurement of the feature. The visual inspection can be carried out by means of the operator inspecting the produced feature visually or by feeling as appropriate.
This would be to check for any marks, indentation, or similar defects if any are produced on the surface. If the feature is critical, surface measuring instruments are used to check the surface finish accurately within the process.
For dimensional measurement, the operator checks the critical dimensions of the feature produced using measuring instruments such as vernier gauges and micrometers.
